Sonnenbogen in Stadtbergen

We got duck, red cabbage and dumplings in the Sonnenbogen at noon today. As always, the food was delicious. Because of the Corona crisis, we can't eat in the restaurant at the moment. The pick-up service is highly recommended as an alternative. The weekly menu can be viewed on the Internet. In these times we shouldn't let this nice location with the extremely friendly staff and the really good cuisine hang down. Friedhelm and Anneliese ..................... January 18, 2021 We often fetched food from CAFE SONNENBOGEN during the Corona crisis. Not only do we want to support this restaurant, but all dishes are very tasty and plentiful. Today e.g. Sauerbraten, homemade spaetzle and mixed salad. Very DELICIOUS! Of course, this does not replace a personal visit to the restaurant with the extremely friendly team. Welcome home! The hosts always give you a warm welcome and you immediately feel at home. The food is very good and the portions are almost impossible to create. The two brothers try to fulfill every wish and also prepare dishes that are not on the menu. This is pure service and hospitality! In addition, the price / performance ratio is more than justified, quite apart from the liquid desserts, which are always waved off when paying 😃👍 the whole atmosphere is very familiar. In any case, we feel good and love going there.

We were there at lunchtime and wanted to enjoy a small lunch. Since the portions are more than generous, we ordered a meal for two. We were able to do this without any problems and we were absolutely thrilled. Price and a top quality are more than satisfactory. A great service and also the "little coffee" afterwards, we were given with a friendly signal to stop by again for a visit. Hence our rating: ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!

Very friendly service. Price not to top and the quality is absolutely satisfactory. Unfortunately I had a little wait until my meal arrived. At the Anrichteweise or decoration you could work a bit more. When the weather is nice you can sit comfortably on the terrace. The place is a bit hidden, but worth a look
